LOL funny you said that. I got a delta from Petsmart a week ago because I couldn't help myself. I make it a habit to grab a cart and look through EVERY fish they have... anyway...

I found the little guy I had to take home labeled as a halfmoon, and I looked at every other "halfmoon" they had and noticed not ONE fish was actually halfmoon. I told the employee who was hovering over me this, as well as explaining what a halfmoon WAS, and they gave me a VERY blank look. ;)

You got yourself a pretty little fish though in Romeo!

He is a beauty. There was a beautiful dark blue halfmoon but I looked in the back and Romeo gave me that look. He is my 8th in a year. >.>

I like how you said, "whatever he is". Thats what is amazing about bettas, even if you don't know what type or if you like them 100%, they always grown on you. Romeo is is gorgeous, I think I have his cousin. He is definetly looking like a younger delta tail opaque white. Give him some flare time and the fins will fill out nicely.

He doesn't look like a dragon, but it's hard to tell without a better picture of his scales.
