Double Spawn Log: HMPKxHMPK + MG HM X MG CT

SO I haven't posted in here for awhile.
I figured I would update you all on my current spawns.

So my first spawn of this log is the dragon HMPK x dragon HMPK as some of you may recall I had this spawn going and believed it had failed only to be proved wrong. At this point I believe I have roughly 10 fry from that spawn, not bad believing I had none left at all. They are starting to get big. The they range in some, to some be half the size of the largest to the largest somewhere between the 6 and 7 week on the size chart.
I keep the water a bit lower in this tank due to the fact that I have mystery snails breeding like crazy in there. My female just laid her fourth egg sack the other night, and yes they are hatching I have a good number of baby mystery snails in the tank. This will change when I get a ten gallon or two to transfer them to for breeding and raising.

next is one I have not spoke about all the much on these forums. These are my roughly 3 week old fry from my MG pair. The male is a emerald dragon HM and the female is a blacker CT
My goal with this line is to create my own line of dragon scale MG HalfSuns.

I'd be really interested to see how the half suns turn out. I haven't seen any before.

Oh I forgot to add in that the MG pair, they apparently spawned twice so I have two spawns in the tank. Seems they spawned a couple days apart, the day the spawn I saw should have hatched I had free swimming, and there is a definite size difference between a lot of the fry.

You know, it would certainly be interesting to see what'd happen if we crossed your male emerald to my female, Sabra. She's also an emerald dragon.

Kaden - She is beautiful. I agree I would love to see what they could produce. If any of the fry turn out like their father I will let you know.

Dober - it will be a couple of generation before I get really great HalfSuns. This is just step 1

Oh I agree, it will be a very interesting time to produce these. I would love to create my own line. It will be very fun to see how well this first spawn turns out. Also for me my LPS is very excited to be buying this line from me, so this will be a great thing for me as well.

So here is a quick fry update.
In the MG pair spawn I grow ever more convinced of multiple spawnings by the day. There are groups of much much larger fry, and groups of fry half the size or less of the others. They all are getting along famously, and eating fine.
I am doing the leave the father in method. So far everything is going great. The father just ignores his babies for the most part, and actually goes to build mini bubble nest in various locations of the tank. He swims with the fry, eats next to them without ever eating one of them. He is being an absolutely amazing father.
