I don't think so, but he is very pretty! I believe black orchirds have black bodies.

He's usually as black like in the first pic, I've got a light shined directly on him to bring out the patterns in the tail

I still think their is to much blue for him to be an orchird. But I am by no means an expert. He is stunning though!

And thank you Laki. Almost bypassed him for one of the other black crowns cause he wasn't active in the container, but as soon as I discovered the Patterson when a light shined on them, he caught my eye again. He has stolen my heart quite rightly
