Without genetic background known you can't be sure.

Red and blue in bettas are the most common and basic colors, they are also dominant over other colors. You will most likely get blue bettas with heavy red wash on them. You may also get some reds with blue wash, if the female carries red. As MrV said, its almost impossible to tell without having a clue of their genetic background.

Most likely VT, unless the female carries CT, then you would probably get CT and comb tail.

Thanks,
I believe that orange is a red variant. All the traits will depend on the genes of the parents. If they are hybrid themselves, then some unexpected may show up. I would expect some with orange/blue mix, but you can never tell... First time breeding with a pair is a crap shoot!

I have noteced my male betta has black on the tips of his fins, so i think its fin rot (realy wish i could get a pic) Right now the male is in a wine glass while i clean the 6gal breeding tank but now that i think he may have fin rot, should i put him in his 2gal tank? Also how should i treat fin rot?
Thanks,
