Question New Crowntail Mom :)

Hello, everyone!

I am a happy new momma. His name is Drake.
He lives in a 3 gallon tank, by himself. I've had Drake 4 a wk now & am curious about how he behaves. I want 2 Nsure that he's the happiest that he can b, of coarse.
He responds 2 my voice and appears happy, however, @ times he will swim like crazy back & 4th then stop & float 2 the top-then start again. Is this normal? Is he playing?
