Again thanks to Sakura for giving me the rotala, the pinkish ones at the front and the hygro that has the massive leaves, as well as another plant that I dont know how to spell.

You're welcome, kfry. I'm just glad I was able to find a home for the extra plants 'cause I honestly didn't know what I was going to do with them. They look really good in there and I'm glad you were able to get the light. The girls must be thrilled with their remodeled home.

Thanks!

If you want any red or redish plants get ludwigia, gets light red easily.

Yeah the girls were freaking out when I took all the plants out, but then the got curious and were swimming right by my hand when I was placing the plants.

Mo your close, I think you may be confused with the 16 gallon tank I am getting, it is a 15 gallon, close enough though lol. I see pictures when it was first setup and it is kind of remarkable of how far it has come.

Planted tanks are very rewarding as plants filter the water awesomely, which means I can skip water changes every so often without negative affects, actually once the plants settle I can go months if I actually wanted to. Also live plants, if you get them to grow, will multiply fast and soon you will have a forest of plants! Bonus to live plants.

I really hope this tank is fine, I have invested hundreds into it, and for a teenager that doesn't have a job that's a lot, lol. I spent just over a hundred on the new lights and fixture... Fish keeping gets expensive!
