Yes! Love the Aquatic Critter! Just wish I'd have called them today to hold those c. Habrosus, but I'm going to bug Phillip on Monday to see if he can order me some, lol. I'm in Hendersonville, about 20 min north of N'ville, so about 35 minutes hike down to the Aquatic Critter and some days with the construction on 65 it's worse
at least it's close to the zoo, I can take my kids down and get a 2-fer, lol. I've gotten all my fish from them and had a pretty good success rate, I think (again, so new, not sure I'd know the difference, lol!), but I started stocking both tanks end of May and have about a 90% survival rate. Have lost 3 fish, 2 White Cloud Mountain Minnows, and the one c. melanistius. One minnow seemed to have septicemia, died about 48 hours after I brought home my first half dozen of them. The cory I'm not sure what was wrong. He didn't seem to be sick, or have parasites, or anything, was just lethargic and sat around most of the time with his dorsal fin clamped which is unusual for them based on the behavior of the other one. One minnow died about 48 hours after I brought home the second half dozen a month or so later. It was one of the new ones, and I hadn't noticed any odd behavior. And then this week, my one WCMM fry that had made it almost to adulthood disappeared. I think the cory cats ate the body. My mystery snail eats most of the eggs, which is fine, I don't need a bunch of fry in that tank, but I was sad that my one little guy that had beaten the odds suddenly vanished. Of course that tank is open, but if it jumped, I didn't find it. It was there one night and gone the next morning. I've got the water line down an inch and half-ish so I'm pretty sure they can't jump out, but I could be wrong. So many things still to learn.
