nerite help

Hi, I 'm sorry for so many questions but this is my first betta and snail. A little over two weeks now. :wink3: I got this nerite and got him in my 10 gallon betta tank. Turned the lights off. He was in for 24 hours and I just took him out. He is supposed to be a black nerite, but he is really fast. In 24 hours he has cleaned so much off of my plants, I was amazed!

My betta Henry, left him alone as long as he didn't move. As soon as he would move, Henry would swim circles around him, constantly brushing up against him. He didn't look like he was nipping him, but he would mouth his shell a couple of times, then back to brushing up against him. Is this aggression? Would it help to get some live food to put in with Henry and try again?
Henry loves swimming up to my hands from day one. He swims around my hands and plays with everything, but I'm not a snail.
Pictures of the nerite are below. Don't ask me how he could look black at the store, brown when I got him home, then if I shoot a picture with flash, he has this nice pattern.
Any help on what to do with them will be greatly appreciated.

How do you know if it turns to aggression, or is it too late before you know? I put the nerite in an algae filled 1 gallon container for the night. I'll try putting him back in the tank in the morning. Even now, I have the clear container up against the tank and Henry hasn't left that side of the tank yet. Glad to know that this is normal.
