He was pretty pitiful.

My husband may kill me, lol...but it's his fault! :D
Now if I could find a little tank, stand, light, etc....or maybe in the 80 community.

Being that beat up by other fish, I would spoil him with his own tank (if you can afford it. he would be in betta heaven.

How do you know that he's a halfmoon? I'm pretty sure he's a doubletail. If it was just fin rot or biting that cause it, it would be more like a straight tear. (as you can see by some of the other tears he has) But, since the two halves are rounded the the split has that curve to it, I'm pretty sure that he's a double tail.

Well yes..a halfmoon double tail haha. The OP was just saying that they aren't a double tail, that they are just a halfmoon with fin rot which gives the appearance of a double tail. Just saying that I don't think the split tail is caused by the fin rot. :)

I thought he was a Double tail at first but then when I looked more closely, the divide was ragged. Fast forward a bit and I noticed that about 4 cm of tail grew back with treatment. :) Hopefully Phantom's fins will regenerate completely :D.
