Shrimp tank

Planning to begin a shrimp tank build however I am concerned with the proper ph and how to maintain a high ph to ensure that my shrimp wonít die.

Couple of questions
What do you plan on keeping?
Do you plan to breed for a colony or for future sales/trade?
Do you know your current PH of the water you would use in your tank?

Different types of freshwater shrimp for both colony and sale/trade. Looking into online sales to find what Iím looking for. Most LFS here only have ghost shrimp.
And the current ph is between 6.8 and 7.2 although I know shrimp do better at a higher ph.
