Oh yes, they are all different! My first Betta is Tony. He is a blue double-tail male, absolutely beautiful. He is a sweet mild-mannered little guy, except where dwarf corys are concerned. He killed 3 of them the first day before I realized he hated them. He is peacable with all the other fish he has been with, emerald corys, guppies, rasboras, neons, snails and shrimp, but he took offense at the dwarf corys for some reason. I have Calypso who is a red, blue, and white double tail. He is very attentive and playful, but will not tolerate anything other than shrimp and snails for tank mates. Bitz is a red/blue female who is very dominant and aggressive, killed the amano shrimp in her tank. She will come to the front for food, but does not have a lot of use for me. I love her independent attitude! Lady Fish is an orange crown tail female who had blue spots that are now turning iridescent green. She is also very dominant, but much more sociable, always coming up for some interaction, watching me wherever I go. Charley is a Galaxy Koi female, who is pretty laid back. She is a big chow hound. Crystal Blue is an unknown yet, I think it is a "she" and possibly a King. She is white with light blue and dark blue iridescence cropping up all over. She has blue eyes as well. She is very inquisitive and active and seems eager to interact all the time. I just got another boy as well. His name is Remington Steele. He is a steele blue half-moon King Betta. I did not need another Betta, but he called me out across the store and danced and wiggled and begged so beguilingly.... Remmy still is in a very shy state, getting used to his new 20 gallon tank. I hope the Neons and Emerald Corys can teach him to behave! He is a baby, but so big already! Yikes! Not sure what I got myself into, besides another beautiful boy....I am such a sucker, and they all have my heart.
