Thanks
I got her some UTI and Joint treats. She liked them a lot. So that's good. I was going to get a single cheap cat food can. But I forgot because I was at the store with my MIL. I don't connect with her well and being around her makes me a little nervous and unsure.

Glad she liked the treats!
So my cold, which turned into uvulitis, which turned back into a cold, has now turned into a sinus problem. I hesitate to call it a sinus infection, but my left sinus feels blocked, and I can feel rather a lot of pressure leading to headaches. I'm very unhealthy at the moment. I'm going to start doing a bit of exercise from tomorrow, try to get myself back where I was before my graft rejection. Because I was doing so well

No energy to really rant. My mammaw, the only mother I have ever known, had a stoke on Wednesday. It didn't look to bad at first, but she kept getting worse and worse. The stroke kept spreading throughout her brain. They say she has maybe a week left. The stress caused me to have an attack, so I'm stuck in the bed unable to go see her. There is already only an echo of her left and every minute that passes, more of her is gone.

I'm so, so sorry to hear, Bluewind -hugs- I will keep you and your mammaw in my thoughts. I will hope that there will be a miracle and that she'll be OK, or at the very least, you become well enough to see her and say goodbye I can not even imagine how you must be feeling

Crushed, overwhelmed, stressed, depressed, in pain (from attack), upset, regretful, loved, lost, in shock, and helpless just about sums it up. And the entire left side of her brain is already gone. She has nothing to tell her she needs to breathe so she goes a bit without breathing before her body kicks in and she breathes rapidly before doing it all again. Her bp is insane like 150/60 (normally 110/80). Her sight is gone, her right ear, her right side, half her vocal cords and throat, her sensation of pain, and most of her cognition. She can hear a little in her left ear, but her ability to recognise people by their voice is fading. She only speaks a couple times a day. They can't feed her, put in a feeding tube through her nose, or even put one in her stomach. The IV was removed because she was only retaining it and swelling badly. If there was a 1% chance of her recovering, I would still have hope, but we don't even have that

Bluewind, I'm so sorry. There isn't much else I can say, I just hope things go as well as they possibly can.

I'm so sorry Bluewind :( She'll always be with you in your heart.

Animal testing is a terrible idea; they get all nervous and give the wrong answers.

Thank you to all of you. I'm still a nervous wreck and the stress is wreaking havoc on my medical condition (FHM). My family is still not even pretending to be nice to me (I'm different because I'm also an Aspie and I take a bit to get to know, but my family couldn't care less. I'm just the weird one to them), so that also causes me stress. My dad isn't happy about that either. He's breaking from slowly loosing his mother. He asked me to stay home because he can't have something happening to me too. I long to spend every minute I can up there, but every time I go, I end up making myself more ill. I'm torn. Normally I wouldn't care, but my dad doesn't need any more stress. He says Mammaw wouldn't want me making myself sick over her, but I still feel like a terrible and selfish person for not staying there. I just want to curl up next to her and stay there so she knows she's not alone.
