When they see the images, all they seem to say is:

"why do you like fish so much? They're just fish."

"Maybe you should pay less attention to your fish and more to your real friends"

"Are you in love with your fish or something?"

etc

It gets old after a little while, you know?

Sahel, I would start messing with them. Add in some bizarre pics, creepy clowns or something. Sewer rats. Road signs. Packaged meat. Moss.
Yeah, that's probably why I don't have many friends.

omg XD

That sounds awesome and horrible at the same time XD

You know, right before I checked the forum, I downloaded a bunch of images of chicken eggs to my phone just to be weird XD

it also comes in handy when you want to pair "eggs dee" (XD) with some visuals.

And don't worry about the friend issue, there are bound to be some weird people who find your sense of humor funny. Trust me, this is why I hang less with my female friends and more with the guys. They understand my humor XD

When you think the new wood you added to your aquarium is fully waterlogged, so you remove the rocks holding it down, and it immediately floats to the surface.

I'm fairly sure a buyer on eBay is trying to scam me out of a grindal worms culture. I was contacted immediately after he received it, saying he couldn't find worms - every buyer I've had has said the same thing usually within 3 days the culture settles down and the worms come up to eat as normal. Well he was demanding I ship a new one completely free of charge. I explained that I can't pay shipping out of pocket I don't make enough money to do so, as stated in my descriptions buyer pays shipping even if a reship is required. I offered a compromise of a starter for 5$ shipping in a priority envelope on the condition he sends me new photos of the failed culture and I haven't had a response in 3 days. I've kept up contact and offered a solution - can this guy open a case against me and cause more problems?

5 giant goldfish, 23 bettas, a dozen guppies, 20 bronze/albino corys and a random assortment of a few other community fish/ invertebrates.
1 adorable little frog, 5 cats, 3 dogs and a wonderful toddler aged daughter

Poor you Maybe the guy had left the package outside for too long before he picked it up? Those worms are pretty delicate.

That's why it is called evilbay. I've read this kind of stories on ebay community. Many sellers had to compromise and refund the money.

He has to request a refund via eBay and tell them why. And eBay policy makes it clear the buyer must pay shipping on replaced items. If he leaves negative feedback contact eBay and tell them the buyer didn't follow up after you contacted him. I've had to do this in the past and it's no big deal. If he opens a case you have a paper trail via eBay's message system. I had negative feedback removed when a woman had changed addresses and hadn't informed eBay or PayPal. She complained it took too long for an item to reach her. I followed the tracking number which is how I knew what happened.

If he won't send you photos there's nothing else you can do.

My rant: Sellers on FB who don't mark a Betta as sold! What a waste of time when you send a PM and they say: "Oh, he is already sold." How long does it take to put that in the "Comment" section? Grrrrr! Tempts me to go back to eBay and AquaBid!...Not really but.....
