I know right. Camel crickets are the worst! The front and the back look the same so you can't tell which way they are moving. they look like giant spiders, and they can jump super high and far. I remember moving a tarp that was outside on the patio, covering a ladder and a bike. And when I did hundreds of camel crickets started jumping around. I'm not exaggerating. I ran away screaming.

I think the red heart grasshoppers(I think that's what they are called) are creeper, they are huge and poisonous, there's a bird that actually picks them up and stabs them to a Thor until the poisonous sack rots and then eats them, its weird.

I'm 16 and I'm afraid of bugs and spiders. I'm not sure if it's as bad as a phobia, but it might as well be one. I used to have no problem with bugs when I was little because I would dig up worms and such. But in 2nd grade, we were outside for recess and the playground had trees that covered about half of it. I was playing and doing whatever, when I looked down and saw a fuzzy white caterpillar with red antenna just sitting on my neck. I never even felt it land on me. I've been afraid of nearly any type of bug since then, nearly to the point of crying when it's a creepy looking one or a spider, and cringing when I pick it up in a papertowel e_e

I'm a teen and my sister keeps stick bugs. And they escape. Into my room. On my wall.

I got back from camp. Huge legged thing on wall.

*SCREAM!* there's a thing in my room!

Later I found that my cat had took off the legs of one of the adults and scattered them all over my room. They had gone into egg laying time. Eggs. All over my CARPET. I vaccumed 10 times that day just in case any hatched. I never found stickbug #3's body.
So mad.
I clean out their cage and it isn't even my responsibility. Sometimes they get caught in her trash. And she lets them escape. Her logic: Let them escape, I'll catch them when I find them on my walls.
Those stickbugs were a "Your Sister Gets Fish, Here Take These Bugs So You Don't Feel Bad". What a stupid idea. For all our sakes. Not to mention they are invasive and she doesn't care if she starts another invasion by our house.
I love my cat, but her idea of 'gifts' isn't exactly something I want from her. Bug legs all over my floor isn't a gift, Pebbles.

Man, you're braver than me! I'm 16 and I won't even touch a dead bug/spider with a papertowel. I'd have to wear gloves. UGHH

I'm 23 and I agree with everyone who says spiders are terrifying! The absolute worst was when I was driving and I noticed a spider on my dashboard. And then it crawled onto the steering wheel and I think I almost died. I ended up turning onto a dead end street and pulling over so I could kill it. It was a super small spider, but I couldn't handle driving with that thing on the wheel. The dashboard was bad enough but I was still okay driving, but as soon as it got near where my hands were, I was like "NOPE! NOPENOPENOPENOPE!"
