The silicone on my tank failed on the bottom of my tank and the rest of the seams had air bubbles in them, had to take down the whole tank, store all my 30lbs of sand in gallon jugs, and get a new tank.

I slipped and fell getting out of the shower six days after my birthday and two of my teeth went though the skin under my bottom lip. I ended up getting around 30 stitches and a light scar. I was out of it for around a week, in pain and sleeping a lot. During that time, my two bettas didn't eat much that week. My bettas were healthy and fine however. I actually had a job interview later the same day I was hurt and ended up early with some light makeup and a cute outfit on with a smile on my face. I shocked the lady who interviewed me and made a huge impression about how I was not going to let my injury stop me from showing up because I was committed. Yes I did end up getting that summer job as a Summer Camp Counselor at the YMCA. Now, when I'm feeling down, I can rub my tongue on my scar (as I said, it was a through and through) and remember how awesome I was that day ^_^

Depression is just like a broken bone, they both need medical attention and it's nothing to be ashamed of. Try to write at least ten healthy and positive things that are going on in your life. You will be amazed by how effective this is.

I had shoulder surgery and was in a sling for 6 weeks, unable to bend or lift. I just dosed extra Seachem Prime and hoped for the best. Everyone survived, none the worse for wear!

Lol BFL. I've experienced everything on your poll. And I'll add natural disaster - in my case floods.
Pol #1, #5, and floods killed (or set free) quite a few of my fish.

Only one I've had is #5. An old betta fish (he was 4 years old :o ) was fed pepper by a coworker while I was out of town. Supposedly, it was an "accident." I waited until she quit before getting Napoleon.
