Notre Dame is burning

It looks like nothing but the outside of Notre Dame will survive.

"The roof of Paris’ Notre Dame Cathedral collapsed as a massive fire ripped through the structure on Monday, days before Easter. "

It’s tragic.

I’ve seen it twice, both times over 20 years ago.
Wish I had fresher memories.

Tagawa’s tank: 70litre mature setup; betta, purple rasboras, 2 nerites, amano and wood shrimp. Heavily planted.
Valentine’s tank: 22litre cube; betta, 2 amano. Heavily planted.
Kham’s tank: 57litre cube; betta, ember tetras, 2 amano, 1 nerite, heavily planted.
200litre tank; honey gourami, cherry barbs, green neons, kuhli loaches, otocinclus, pond snails and 1 assassin doing his thing. Heavily planted.

It's one of the places I'd have loved to see if I ever made it to Europe. Still can't believe it'll no longer be there.

I'm honestly so heartbroken.
The architecture is something that was taught throughout all 4 years of my art history courses and I can't believe I'll never get to see it.

It's hard to believe that it happened. I was there years ago and marveled at the history and architecture. The beauty that this cathedral showed the world. Just too much for words.

This news today broke my heart. This historical significance of this magnificent cathedral is beyond comprehension. I am thankful some of it was able to be saved, but it is still a sad, sad, day for this world.
