What's Going On in Your Non-Fishy Life?

Welcome to my version of "This is Your Life." I was looking for a general talk thread or some way to just get to know everyone behind the fish and talk about every day things.

Since I did not see such a thread I decided to make one. I hope you all do not mind.

So everyone please feel free to stop by and talk about whatever is going on in you life or anything on your mind. I can't wait to hear from you all!

I came home, the balcony was wet but no raid, so I put some seed out for the birds.
They came, they ate, it started raining again so I took up the food and put it back out during the stoppage in the rain.
Now it's pouring but three of them braved the rain and were standing on the railing all soaked. I feel bad but the food isn't going back out there to get fouled.

Delaying grooming Edward and Fiona the Shih Tzu. Can't wait much longer, though or I'll have to chop off their topknots.

Also got the fifth wheel in the shop for air conditioning issues. Hope it's fixed before the two-week road trip to Montana! This will be Fiona's first long trek (other than bringing her from IL to TN when I bought her). Hope it cures her penchant to get truck sick. Poor thing.

This will also be our first trip without our beloved Russell. Bittersweet.

Well road trips? Sure beat cleaning the gutters. With any luck it will start raining again before I start doing them and then I can clean up the mess I have in the basement.

Work work work. The week will be over soon though. I got to get everything ready before college starts back up. When that happens I will not have time to look up.

What kind of dog is Fiona?

I have three right now. Two rescue mutts and my newest family member an 11 week old Siberian husky named Takoda.

These are my "kids" lol
Tali (girl 3 years old)

Sparky (1.5 years old)

Takoda (11 weeks)

Oh, my! They are wonderful! We have a member, @DaceyJ , who has a Siberian.

Fiona and Edward are Shih Tzu; Boo is an English Setter. I did German Shorthaired Pointer Rescue for 25 years. It was so rewarding.

What college? I graduated Cumberland University in TN and Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green.

Love this thread. Hope it gets lots of traffic.

Well The gutters are cleaned. LOL But found out who ever put them up didn't pitch them right. the water just lays in them, a good bug nursery. So tomorrow I have to take them down and give them the right pitch. I got to stop working on this house I'm finding too much that is not done right. Well back to getting the basement ready.
