New Aquarium Keeper

So New to the whole Aquarium Digs because my little girl wants a Betta fish it soon evolved into a family project and Hobby. So 20g Long is what I will be using WITH planted plants. Wife is set on anubis , Money wort for background aand java fern. Seeing as I'm somewhat new to this. I've heard Mixed things with betta fish working with other species. . Most common I hear is tetra(non flashy type) and Corys (the little ones) and the Otos. . I've been researching for about 3 or 4 months now. >.>; we have the Tank setup and the filter rolling. Eco complete and dark sandy substrate. kind of layered it .

Looking for alot of opinions. So bear with me :P as this Aquarium Noob depends on you guys a bit as he gets his hands wet with this.

Hello, welcome to the forum and to the wet world of fish. The basic principle is not to put fin nippers in with bettas. Check out our "Betta compatibility" section for more info.
