Betta and Mystery Snail Mommy!

Hi everyone, I'm glad to finally find a forum that has participants in the last five years!

My daughter won a goldfish at a carnival, I bought a Betta bowl and everything for it. It died shortly thereafter. She was really sad, so I bought her a beautiful blue female baby crowntail. She named her CC (Chicago Cubs). I always feel AWFUL for Bettas in those terribly small Betta bowl/balls, so I went and got a 10 gallon tank for her with gravel, a filter, a heater, etc. CC is very playful, she actually loves the filter flow, she plays in it around 7 pm every night and stays in the other part of the tank the rest of the time.

Since she interacts with us a lot we figured she'd like some company while we're at work/school. So, we got a mystery snail named Bolt. That quickly turned into six mystery snails because they're super interesting as well! We feed the snails algae wafers and blanched veggies. Bolt just laid a bunch of eggs and now we have a little hatchery for them outside the tank as well.

Sadly, CC is now really very sick and I've posted a very detailed (and, I think, up to standards) thread about her illness looking for input from this, and other, online Betta communities. Nobody has responded at all yet, but I'm hoping to hear back from some knowledgeable people soon.

Anyhow, we went from one dog to a beautiful Betta and six snails inside of three months! I love them all and am constantly educating myself on ways to improve their quality of life. Looking to upgrade to a long rectangular 20 gallon for CC (if she makes it) and the adult snails and to put the babies in the 10 gallon we're using now. Here's some pics.

Hi.
Please fill out this form when seeking help for your Betta. This information and a clear photo posted directly into the thread will help us give you the most accurate advice possible. Without the information and photos the best we can do is guess.

Just by looking at some of the photos I think that your water is dirty and I think you need to change 50% with fresh water treated with something like Seachem Prime

I did fill out that form and I did put it in the proper section with a great deal of photos. This post was a secondary post. The water isn't dirty. That's the glare.

Is my post in the proper forum with the form filled out.
