Smile Dorm fish!

Hello!

My name is Thane, and I've raised bettas as a kid before but never on my own. I recently got a new dorm room and was able to bring my (empty, unused) aquarium from home. My previous roommate hadn't wanted fish in the dorm, but now I have a single and I'm really looking forward to keeping a betta again, this time with much more research. I'd eventually love to breed bettas if/when I can buy more aquariums and have the time and resources to care for multiple fish properly.

Welcome! I have lots of fond memories of keeping betta fish in my dorm room too! Post pictures of your tank when you can, I'd love to see your fish once you're all set up.

I have had problems with others complaining about keeping fish in my dorm room. It truly sucked!

Thanks, everyone! My camera is kinda crappy but I'll take pictures when I can. And hopefully I won't have any more problems as far as the dorm situation goes--I'm in a single now, and my university allows aquariums up to ten gallons in the dorms without any special permission.

that's awesome that your university allows Aquariums in the dorms! Would love to see you setup when you are ready!
