Talking Hello from a newbie! :)

Hello Everyone,

I am new to the site but not new to betta keeping.

As a teenager I spent 5+ years keeping bettas and goldfish. I have adored the hobby and I was lucky enough to learn many fish keeping techniques and information from my father throughout my childhood. I took a break from fish keeping after turning 18 and moving out. My boyfriend and I were lucky enough to purchase our first home and I am taking up my favorite hobby again.

I set up and cycled a three gallon tank and purchased a beautiful platinum halfmoon male, affectionately named Marshmellow. I forgot how addicting fish keeping is and I am already thinking about how I wanna set up my next tank (We have three spare bedrooms and lot's of area for me to put tanks.

Photos to come of the new guy soon. Today's his first night and he is definitely being shy so not brave enough to shove a camera at him yet lol

Anywho, I am excited to dive into fish keeping again and hope this site can be a place to share and learn more about this hobby.

Kayla

Hello and welcome to the forum. I find Betta keeping is like eating peanuts, can't have just one. At present I have 5 and in 5.5 gal planted tanks. By the end of this year tat all will change with the addition of my basement fish room.
