Hi y'all!

Obligatory first post!

Hi!
I'm not exactly new to bettas, but it's been almost a decade since my last guys passed away. So I'm definitely out of the loop! Looking forwards to hanging around, learning, and meeting y'all!

Here's the new guy, please excuse the tupperware - he's in quarantine before he gets to go into the big tank;

Hi and welcome! :)

How long is the quarantine, and what temperature is he in at the moment?
(not nagging, just asking :) because at this time of year, my betta definitely need a heater)

70litre tank: mature setup; betta, purple rasboras, male guppies, amano and wood shrimp. Heavily planted.
22litre cube tank: (Tagawa); betta, yellow dwarf shrimp. Pond snails and 1 assassin. Heavily planted.
Midnight in the 57litre tank (Midnight) ember tetras, 1 amano, 1 ghost, 1 nerite, pond snails, 1 assassin, doing his thing. Heavily planted.
200litre tank; honey gourami, cherry barbs, green neons, otocinclus, nerites, pond snails, amano. Heavily planted.

You must be a fair bit north of us! We're still getting temps in the mid 90*s. Water is a comfy 78*-80*

He's in quarantine for four weeks, mostly because I have no idea how he was kept and if he's got any sneaky parasites. Have to be careful, since he's going in the big planted tank- it's impossible to medicate. Yes, will hopefully be moving him to a bigger quarantine tank soon!
