Bolivian Ram Cichlid Advice

Hey everyone! I'm looking into getting Bolivian Ram (more likely two) for my tank. From what I've read, they seem to be less agressive then other cichlids. In my tank I have three guppies and a bronze cory, so are Bolivian Rams compatible with them?

No fish for now

Absolutely! The only thing with all Rams (German Blues, Wild Blue, Golden, Electric Blue, and Bolivians) is that they are very sensitive to water quality so make sure you do your weekly changes. They are most sensitive to nitrates so keep them 5ppm and under if you can.

And how big is this tank? They need at least 20 gallons or more preferably for a pair. And it'd be good if you bumped up your cories school, you can't just keep him by himself/herself. You need at least 5 but preferably more :)

Leopards: Luna, Astrael, Dorian, Cullen, Gallifrey

It's 30 gallon, so it should be big enough! And don't worry, we're going to get more cories when we get our rams.

I just got a bolivian ram as well. They have such cute little faces! I adore him. Be sure not to overstock your tank with too many bottom dwellers though. The rams can get very territorial - especially if you get a M/F pair and they spawn. Cories are no match for the rams if the tank is too crowded or the rams are spawning.

75 g. planted peaceful community of denison barbs, cories, neons, boesemani and turquoise rainbowfish, pearl gourami, ancistrus

35 g. long semi-aggressive community of mature m. lacustris, diamond tetras, golden gourami

36 g. bow with pagai praecox and kamaka rainbowfish.

3 pico planted tanks with bettas and nerites.
