yup that food will be perfect for them. and I would break it into 1/4th once you breed them then you can up the wafer. I have over 50 red cherry shrimp in a 5 gallon and they love the wafers I give them. they also eat blood worms at times (though I give the blood worms to my assassin snails)
just make sure the tank is well cycled and some cover for them to feel safe and you'll be just fine. =)
15 gallon: 1 Pea puffer, 5 harlequin rasboras, 5 neon green Rasboras, Clown pleco, Shrimp.
10 gallon: 2 betta's and a snail
10 gallon: 1 Pea puffer, two Guppies and 6 Panda loaches and shrimp.
5 gallon: Red Cherry Shrimp and snails
5 gallon tank: WIP tank
37 gallon: 2 F8 Puffers 7 bumblebee gobies.
