Help for a beginner stocking a 10 gallon
Hi all! First time posting so hope i'm doing this right :)
I recently bought a 10 gallon half moon aquarium, put in some black sand, 3 marimo balls, 2 java ferns, and a couple anubias plants and want to do a tank with a few things going on if possible!
I've thought of the idea of having either a small school or a small group of shoaling fish of about 5-10 in the mid to top levels of the tank, and then getting some hasboras corys or pygmy corys as the second fish with a group of maybe 5-7. These two are my primary hopes, but if I could also add maybe 5 rcs or ghost shrimp to the tank as well that would be awesome!
My local pet store doesn't stock a lot of the fish I'd like online like chili rasboras. Would fish like zebra danios work with the corys? Other options white cloud minnows, neon tetras, harlequin rasboras, dwarf gouramis, and cardinal tetras. a
Fish keeping already has me so excited and I'm pumped to start a new tank after around 10 years and plan to share more as well as my bettas in the future :)
