Separate parents, they will eventually snack on offspring. Some species are more vicious than others.
They are territorial and cąnibals. You want a wide tank, not deep, with lots of hiding places a fair distance from each other. They have to be able to molt away from others. Otherwise they will be eaten.
Water doesn't have to be deep. Good water circulation is more important. They will eat just about anything; pellets, vegetables, meat. . . Make sure you siphon out left over food (especially decaying veggies) and water change accordingly - depending on what you feed, number of crayfish, and water volume/area.
