Help identifying a plant

I got this the other day at the petstore and it looked cool just not sure what it is or what its needs are. thanks in advance

It reminds me of bacopa, so it might be that. Is it currently flowering or are those brown leaves?

Does it look like this, bacopa monnieri?

100g Native Fish Pond, 55g Goldfish/Catfish Community, 50g Plant Pond, 40gB Tetra/Cory Community, 20gHM Community, 20gH Turtle (Bender [RES]), 20gL Turtle (Kif [YBS]), 15g Reef, 5.5g Betta (Okami), 5gFBH Betta (Pron), 5gHex Betta (Twister)

2 dogs, 13 cats, 2 turtles, 1 bearded dragon and 1 crested gecko

its got little purple flowers on it almost like miniature lilac, here maybe this is a better pic

It's gorgeous, but I can't imagine what it could be besides bacopa.

This is a bacopa species. Not sure what type, but it looks similar, yes?

It probably is bacopa but was grown emersed and won't show the aquatic form until it melts and starts to re-grow in the tank in water. To minimize the mess, I would take it out and remove as much of the flowers as you safely can without hurting the plant, they are just going to die and decay in water, then just put it back and wait for it to start growing, clipping off any brown/dead/decaying areas as it adjusts.
