Non-betta Planted tank- Anyone keep Parrot fish in a planted tank?

I've gone to other appropriate forums they are kind of dead activity wise.
So if you have any tips for setting up a planted tank for this fish let me know. They can be diggers. I am thinking of getting a male with hopes of reducing a nesting instinct, thus digging.

Parrot fish are diggers and not just for nesting. I recommend using plant weights to keep the plants together and well seated in your gravel. I also would put some heavy pebbles ( not small ones but some decorative flat pebbles) around the plants and that way it would not only hold the plants in place but also allow the fish to do what comes natural, and keep it away from the roots of the plants.
