Hello everyone. I am new here, but have been keeping bettas for about 5 years. I currently have a 10gallon sorrority tank that consists of all fake plants outside of a moss ball. I am in the process of moving the girls into a 20g long aquarium that I plan on getting live plants for. That where I need help, picking plants. It would be low light.
Anubias, Java fern, crypts, water sprite.. You want plants that will grow bushy as well as high, trident Java fern is good for cover, it seems to stay relatively more compact than others.
I love my crypts and Italian Val. Anacharis is nice because it grows extremely fast and can be planted as well as floated, but it can get pretty messy when leaves fall off
