Green Leafy residue on sand

Hey everyone, so I'm cleaning my tank as of right now and noticed some green leafy specks around certain plants in my tank. I have never seen this before and I am not quite sure if it is even from my plants. I recently discover a ramshorn snail in my tank about 2 weeks ago and was wondering if it had to do with the snail? Suggestions? Thanks :)
