Need help with identifying plant

Title says it all. I got this from an aquarium store, but the owner didn't know which plant it is.
Need your help.
Thanks in advance 🙂
(The pictures are of the same plant in chronological order, the latest having been taken two days ago)

Looks like it could possibly be Vallisneria spiralis or Nals. It's what I been looking for today ironically. How long have you had the plant?

It's been about a month or so. Initially it was planted in the sand, but it started to wither and the leaves were infested with algae and started to fall out.
So I bought some aquatic soil and planted it in a glass jar that was once used for honey (I washed it properly). Since then it's been growing really well. I thought initially that it was valissenaria (forgive the spelling) but couldn't it also be something else?(like saggitarua subulata?).
I'm not sure.

It could be Sag. Subulata, however that is usually more of a carpet grass and has a lot shorter growth. If my Sag. reached that length i'd be over the moon

I'm not really sure.
When I replanted it, the plant has about five or so very small leaves (about a centimeter in length) and lots of brown roots (which I presumed were dead roots. There was a bit of seemingly solid non-rootlike material attached at the bottom, but I don't think it looked like a bulb. (I might be wrong, I'm no expert).
Tl;do: I'm no expert and I might be wrong, but I don't think so.
