Plants for aquascape with betta fish

Hello everyone, I have my betta fish for more than a year. It lived in a 5 gallon fishtank with a lot of plants, but everything looked chaotic to be honest.. So I decided to change my aquarium a little bit. I'm planing to have a tree in the middle. I'm going to form a tree from branch and mosses on it. What are your suggestions for mosses? I read that java moss is quite good for betta fish and it looks nice. You can read about it in this article if you want to: Maybe someone of you have aquascape with mosses? Can you share your ideas with me? Thank you :)

Java Moss is good. There are also mosses that hang. One of them is Phoenix Moss. It is more "droopy." Your tree, no matter which moss you use, is going to be gorgeous!

Those moss tree plants look lovely. I have always admired them. Your tank will look amazing.

Java moss grows a bit messily, and grows fast (at least mine does!) I haven’t used Christmas miss, but I have seen it and liked the look of it.

I have something called ‘weeping moss’ Vesicularia ferriei in one tank, growing over some roots, it looks great because it’s drooping weeping growth looks like leaves. It does need good light though. I would attach a pic but I trimmed it only yesterday, and it will take a few days to recover! Lol

Here is a pic from a google search to show you what it can look like.
