Well, you know most breeders advise against feeding the males while tending the nest and fry. But I feed them live blood worms anyway to keep their strength up.

4-23-19: Spawn Log #2 -
The eggs have hatched and Daddy is freaking out! 😂 Added a pic of some along the right top edge of the water before he gathered them all up. Cant really see the nest because he's hiding it in the back.

Addendum to Spawn Log #2 - Site is not showing edit button anymore.
Here is a video clip of the bouncing babies. Sorry for the low quality but Mas pushed his bubble nest to the back of the tank and I had to zoom in not to mention the tint from Indian Almond Leaves.

But hope you can see them! 😍

Aww they are so bouncy!! I would love to breed bettas myself but I don't know if I have the space to house all the fry when they start to grow up! Fish have so many babies haha.

How many do you think will survive? :)

Well, I'm hoping at least 50-60 will make it to adulthood.
My Koi spawned over 100 and now there are about 40-50 babies. I busted the bigger ones eating the smallest siblings 😡
