Haha yeah thanks, he is pretty awesome! Are you still looking to get some duckweed? I'm probably going to remove mine from my tank pretty soon, I could send it to you if you want it. Promise it's snail free ;)

So beautiful. I was going back and forth between my guy with the orange/black CT and the HM orchids like yours on Aquabid. I just happened to find my guy at a petco.

Hygrophilla Kompact did, that's for sure. I removed it because of that, yes, in addition to it's enormous size obstructing my light. Sure, snails will take care of the shedding... If you can find a snail big enough to devour a 3-4 inch leaf twice a day, lol. I've heard that Hygro's ultimate goal is to produce perfect leaves. Meaning, it sheds anything not impeccably healthy. I guess that means the final product looks nice, but your tank sure doesn't.

Hey sorry it took me so long to get back to you... It's called Hygrophilla Kompact. Don't let the name fool you, though. It gets to be about the size (and roughly the shape) of a pineapple. Quite a large plant. Grows quick and sheds a lot. I actually removed mine.
