I don't know if my boy had an official coloring type because he had multiple layers of irridescence and some colors were more visible than others depending on the lighting. That being said, I would say he was tri-colored or multi-colored.

Felix is a MG (Mustard Gas) betta. He has an iridescent blue body with yellow fins. No oil slick coloring, though.

If you post a picture of your betta, the members here can tell you the color's name (if there is one; some can get pretty unique).

Oh cichlids they are great and not so great. I have kept many kinds most from South American. They range is all size and temperament. You can keep a nice cichlid tank in a 50gal just don't get any big ones. Angle fish are good starters. What size tank would you be willing to have?

If you want to learn a lot about cichlids of all kinds MFK aka monster fish keeps is the best there are people on there that really know a lot about these fish.

    That's ok.
And the ferrets who make trouble are the best. They have personality. :3 My little female is also quite small. She used to be real skinny too. Then I started her on Duk Soup and chicken gizzards with duk soup on them as well.

Try giving your girl duk soup in water. Mostly water. She should drink a lot if she decides she likes it. It's good for her, and her coat and skin, it will also help her appetite and super hydrate her. :3 Mine gained near a pound once we started that every other night with organs every morning.

Haha, I only have two ferrets. I want more, but housing and money situation is only big enough for the two. I live with my grandma and don't have a full time job, so as much as I'd love several more additions to my ferret family, I wouldn't have the money to pay for all the start vet bills AND the ferret. ^^; A real bummer too, I fell absolutely in love with a 2 1/2 month old dark-eyed white a few weeks back. Sweet big boy, ALWAYS wanted a pure white baby.
I have a little thread in the other pets section just for them, if you want to look, and please post some of your own photos/videos if you want to! You can find it if you click on my statistics and find threads started by me. =)
