RickyTan 78-82 is ideal, when i breed my bettas i usually raise it to 86 with no problems. Had a few malfunctions on heaters and water went to 92 and they were fine. Also had power outages during the winter and had water temps down to low 50s for a week and they were fine.

Water temperature
Hi, what is the optimum water temperature range for our bettas. I was told 78-82. But I just wanted to make sure. If it ever gets to 86, is that dangerous? Sometimes the heat of the afternoon warms the tank up higher than it should probably be.
