Worldsworstusername Lol, I start talking dogs, and forget what I came here for.

Bob's getting an upgrade! We found a cool 10 gallon tall tank that we've cleaned up. This weekend's project is building a stand for it, then finding a place to put it. Once in place, we'll instant tank it (using Bob's water, plus water form the community 80 gallon, and reusing my filter.)

My instagram user name is chewman2000, if anyone wants to view my tanks. I'm too computer stupid to figure out how to post anything more than the links to certain pictures.

This is Joey...he's my crazy boy, or was, until the lymphoma. Now all he wants to do is eat and pee because of the prednisone. He's still pretty playful and happy, so he'll go along until the cancer makes him feel bad, and then I'll have to make the decision to ease his pain the only way I can.

Worldsworstusername In my avatar? That's Charlie, my first boxer. I saved him when he was a puppy, and he was my best boy. I lost him 7 years ago when his spinal issues got to be too difficult for him. I still miss him every day.

RussellTheShihTzu Sounds like Bob is a happy camper!

BTW, is that Joey??? What a cutie.

Worldsworstusername Well, Bob is growing pretty well, he eats like a pig!! We got him a couple shrimp, and some tiny little pencil fish for company, and after a day or so of him following them all around, he seems to not mind his tankmates. I wanted to get a pic, but he's feeling a bit camera shy tonight.

Worldsworstusername He has a lot of personality already. I came home from work to find him sleeping on his almond leaf (lights off during the day). He did get a little pouty during his water change, though.

Worldsworstusername Thanks!

We just moved him into his new home. He seems pretty interested in his new surroundings, giving everything the once over. He doesn't have much in the way of plant life (yet), because most of the stuff in my 80 is just too big for this little tank. He does have a big honkin' almond leaf that he seems to like to sit under.

We originally bought this tank to house a salt water mantis shrimp that hitchhiked on some live rock from Indonesia. I didn't have the heart to dispose of him, so we bought him this little tank to grow out in, then rehomed him when he got big enough to travel. Since then, it's been sitting empty, so we gave it a good scrub down (RO water only) to prep for Bob.
