RussellTheShihTzu I wouldn't worry.

It is always best to have six of a shoaling species and it would be imperative if you were housing a Nano/Dwarf species of Cory like Habrosus in with a predator. However, since these are not Nano fish they should be fine until you can add more. If it were me, I would eventually get two Panda and one Pepper so you have three of each.

If your Betta is not aggressive and the Cory have a place to shelter you should be fine until you can get more.

Can you post a picture of the entire tank?

Betta and Coryís

I heard that bettas and Coryís could share a tank. I have a ten gallon tank and one made betta. I recently went to the pet store and got a mystery snail 2 pepper Coryís and one panda Cory. The man helping me said that 3 Coryís would be fine and that it didnít matter that they were not the same kind. Now Iím reading that they HAVE to be the same kind and need at lest 5-6 in a school. Problem is, the nearest pet store is pretty far away and I donít know when Iíll be able to get out there again. Should I be worried? Please help😂
