shellieca They're easily removed. I have 2 females who lay eggs quite regularly even though they are the only Mystery snail in their tanks, since I prefer not to have more snails I simply trash the eggs. If you want to keep them just dampen a papertowel, put it in a tupperware container or in any container that you can keep moist & somewhat humid, they'll hatch & then you can decide what to do with them.

Aoicat Well, you could let them alone where they are and see what happens. If the bettas are used to having snails around they might just completely ignore the babies. Or they might eat them, which isn't a huge loss either. If you completely submerge the eggs you'll kill them.

Elsewhere How do I remove them? Will it kill them to remove them? Can the eggs go in water? When/if I remove them how do I put them in a container if they can't go in water? Sorry for the question explosion, I'm just freaking out!

MandiNicole You can put them in a temporary holding container until you move your fish around or get another small tank

Please help!!!

OKAY. TRYING TO CALM DOWN. My Mystery snails (which I believed to both be boys) have LAID EGGS IN MY 30G. I don't know what to do! They weren't there a half an hour ago! I don't want to just kill little midget babies, but I can't have them hatch in my 30g, my Bettas would kill them! And my 10g is full of Cories, my 5g a Betta and even my 2.5 a Betta! I need answers NOW as to what to do, so please help me out here!
