|keepsmiling||Just a suggestion, those stones look a little sharp. I would replace them with smooth round stones. You should be able to find them at a landscaping supply place cheap.|

|keepsmiling||Buy a new tank for qt,a ten gallon will work. That and an airstone or sponge filter is all you need. You should be able to pick up a ten gallon fairly inexpensively. Try looking on CL. Good luck.|

As far as the salt i don't think I can try it because my hospital tank is occupied right now with some corydoras and the tank my goldfish is at has a bristlenose pleco and 2 hillstream loaches.

sbd is commonly misdiagnosed. most times it is constipation or air trapped in their intestines. here are some healthy bubble eyes swimming.

Yes, that does look like a minor swim bladder problem. For goldies, I'd recommend not feeding them for a few days to see if that helps the problem. Monitor for regular pooping because constipation is the most common cause. If fasting for a few days does not help, then try adding some pre dissolved (PURE) Epsom Salts to the water. 1 tsb per gallon is ideal, but that can be raised to 3 tsb per gallon over time.
**If the fasting for a few days does nothing, you can try and give them a few thawed, de shelled peas. This will help move things along as well as the Epsom salts.
Has this goldfish had swim bladder problems in the past? It could be that the cause of the floatyness is actually a deformity in the swim bladder. This is thanks to their un naturally short, rounded bodies. I don't think there is any sort of treatment for a physical deformity.
All of your other goldfish look amazing by the way! Great colors and variety :) I can only imagine the loveliness of the group

Last time I saw him pooping was like 2 days ago and it look normal, he has been eating normal and I haven't notice any strange behavior besides him swimming facing down.
Could it be his bubbles?

he looks constipated and a little floaty. have you seen him poop lately?
if he did,did it look normal?
has he been eating normally?
how long has this behavior been going on?
have you noticed any other strange behaviors, like gasping/piping at the surface?
i suggest that you withhold food for a few days and then feed blanched, skinned and slightly squished peas.no salt canned green beans or duckweed would work also.
