Female Guppy?
 

Hi guys, so I have this female guppy that I don't know what to do with. Right now, she is in my 15 gallon tank with no other female guppies. I got her thinking she was a male and planing to put her into a tank with other male guppies, but when I did some more research, I found out it was a female. Would it be okay if I put her into a 2.5 gallon tank with one calm male betta and one mystery snail? Thanks!

2.5 gallons is not enough space for a guppy to swim. They are meant for at least a 10 gallon tank. Is it possible to exchange the female for a male wherever you got her from? She may suffer abuse from the males if left in the tank with them.

She isn't in with them, and I got her from a friend who thought she was a male. I've decided that I will get her three other females.

Mkay, just keep in mind that the typical ratio is one male to two females, to avoid the females being overly abused.

Trust me, they will NOT be in the same tank! Lol. Is this enough for a group or should I get more than three?

Three is perfect ^^ Guppies like groups of odd numbers.

guppies can't count ;-)

but as long as she has some friends, she'll be happy! :-D
