how am i supposed to condition my male and female betta the right way? rightnow i have my female in a 10g tank with 3 other females and my male by himself. what should i do? and which colors do you think id get out of breeding these two together?
I have read that as part of conditioning your fish for breeding you can feed them live food such as brine shrimp or blood worms, but I am having trouble finding live ones. All I have seen locally is freeze dried or frozen. Can anyone suggest some good resources for buying live food?
I have a betta (you may have heard of my Blue DevilFish) who I would really love to reproduce. Mostly because he's beautiful, but also because, as the creature who called me back to the species, I am especially fond of him and think it would be fitting to make him my first "DaddyFish"
i condition my bettas in three steps.
STEP 1: start feeding bettas blood worms instead of pellets.
STEP 2: show them to eachother for the first time. i put there tanks next to eachother and i wait for the male to start his bubble nest.
