I thought I'd show these. I do custom sea glass jewelry and some of my first were of bettas. I might do a few more in the future since these were made when I was pretty new at painting. Maybe one of each different kind of betta. :)

I painted Humphrey, my Crown Tail Betta. I used Koi watercolors and after painting the base colors of him, I dripped paint onto the canvas with a straw then blew air through it to get the spindly, splattered affect in Crown Tails. I hope you all like it! :-D

I'm doing watercolor paintings, and bettas are really fun to draw. I'll post up pics of the drawings. Also if your wondering why I don't just get pics fromt the internet... Its just no fun that way!:-P

This was just a pic I did in excitement of getting my new Halfmoon betta. :3 It was done on a paint program known as Paint Tool Sai, and had over 43 layers and about 2 hours worth of work. This is actually my first time drawing a fish. I'm more or a canine artist. aheheh ^^;
