I was told this male betta was an elephant ear betta, but I heard elsewhere that "elephant" or "dumbo ears" are just a genetic mutation. I was hoping someone could help me clarify that and/or tell me what type of betta he is. These are the best pictures I have of him. Thanks!

Anyone know what type of Betta my baby boy is? He's about 4-5 months old, I have him 2 months. He's doing well in my 20 gal community tank.

Guys it been 20 day since I got my Betta. Now when I reading some article about Betta, I found many fin types. Please help me to recognize what type of Betta I have. I wish it's a crown tail, because I really like that spike. Sorry for poor images, that's what my mobile phone is capable of.
