Hello all!
I've had my betta, Pastel, in a 5 gallon since I got him nearly 3 months ago. Today my father offered to buy me a 10 gallon (yay
) and we picked up the Glofish 10 Gallon Aquarium Kit. It comes with a Whisper 2-10 internal filter, and dad insisted that I have 2 of them and bought me another. Will having 2 filters stress him out? I have them plugged in, and the flow isn't strong as far as I can tell, I have them both down on the lowest notches. I transferred the filter media from my 5 gal into the new 10 gal, so he's already in there. Seemed alittle spooked at first from all the extra room (it's alittle bare, I'm waiting for my Mopani wood to come in tomorrow to fill up some space) but now he's seemed to have calmed down and is leaning on his water hyacinth. Should it be fine having 2 if I just plant a silk plant in front of each of them to muffle the flow a bit?
