Hello, I'm just redoing my 12g Betta tank. It is home to one male crowntail betta, 1 female platy (to be moved soon), and one peppered cory (to be moved soon with rest of school). I am planning on taking out the gravel, taking out the driftwood, getting better decoration, and PLANTING! Just want people's ideas on it as I go on with this!
Here are some pictures::blueyay:

So I went to the aquarium store today and picked up a few things for the tank!
2 5lbs bags of black sand:

Riccia:

Anacharis:

A pretty rock:

I'm planning on having these plants in the tank:
Anacharis
Pennywort
Riccia
Micro Sword
Water Sprite/Wisteria (?)

Also does anyone know how to get snails off of Riccia? I have some on mine and they won't come off...

White vinegar. Just rinse the plants off in a water and white vinegar mix..byebye snails. Its worked for me..no issues. I would ask around and see what others may have experienced.

Ok! That's awesome. I've read that salt water would work as well. I'm going to see what I have. I do believe that we have white vinegar:). Thanks for the tip!
