They have been together for 4 days(actually I was thinking of splitting them up tomorrow).
No real fighting,just some chasing.
They are about 4 months old.
This afternoon,they were under the nest trying to figure out the wraping part of breeding,kind of funny to watch them!
I will keep checking them through the rest of the day and see if they figure it out.
This is thier first time at this,so it will probably take them awhile.

They are both blowing eggs into the nest!!

Congrats! First timers are weird. I have four attempting right now and one finished. Took two days. But I can't wait to see the little ones!

I told my wife it reminded me of the first time I kissed a girl!
"If she would just be still for a moment",of course she was probably thinking the same thing!!

I guess the eggs were infertile.
He ate most of them,and some where fungused.
Not bad all in all for thier first time!!
He is back in his tank,he will probably get a good nights sleep!!!
I have anouther pair I want to try in about a week.

Oh wow 4 months is a little bit to young to breed isn't? maybe I'm wrong but I usually start them up around 6 or 7 months

Some people start at 3 months, most breeders who have been at it for awhile say they notice the best spawns when the fish are around 5 months of age.
