Hello!

I have a small three gallon tank with a betta fish and a snail. When purchasing the snail, I was informed that once a month I should ass a three day fish feeder to the tank to help supply the nail with some needed minerals and vitamins. Will this three day feeder affect my betta fish? Should I not feed him while this feeder is in the tank?

I highly advise against those feeders. They tend to release too much food and will rapidly foul the water in such a small tank. Most likely your betta won't eat the food and the snail won't eat it all either.
if you are looking to add calcium to help the snail maintain a healthy shell, a tiny piece of a cuttle bone will do the trick.
