Home depot has a bunch of low wattage (7.5W 10W 13W) screw-in spiral CFLs at 5000 Kelvin. Would these make good small-tank lights?

Hm, not sure but they probably won't hurt. I don't think the kelvin is high enough for live plants but it would probably make the fish colors bounce
