A rare one in the spawn (DOUBLE TAIL CROWN)

Hi guys, sooo i went to clean my tank out side approx 300 gals ...and i found this fish along with some of his siblings...i remember a while back, may be a year or so i stopped breeding crown tails...i remember buying a super red CT which i posted somewhere in this section (Betta pictures)..i however had no place to put him so i threw him in the pond which then had nothing but fox tail weed and water sprite..i also had a female from a spawn of CT i had kept her back as a pet...i threw her in as well...and i knew they spawned but all came out with this coloration and so i didnt bother to take out any ...i just left em all in there ...on cleaning last weekend i caught this fish along with sibling fish and to my surprise! he was a double tail...im wondering if to spawn him or not. Let me know what u guys think...

Well his rays are super messy and random but his web reduction is alright and even. He's spoon headed though and unless you had a spectacularly formed female I wouldn't breed him.

Thanks for ur thoughts.. he is the only double tail in the spawn and perhaps in the country...im thinking about spawning him because he is the only one i found and since i never seen a double tail crown in real i think i should. Looking on the web i dont think i ever seen a perfect double tailed crown.

lol, well we do have DTCT's over here but yes, you could continue his line, he's certainly not bad though, but definitely chose your female carefully is all.

I know that sometimes you can get albino bettas from siblings of the albino. Would that work here, if it actually works?(Random idea which I may as well ask it)
